The Financial Management Training in Vlora

🌱 On December 22–23, 2025, Vlora became a lively space of collaboration where civil society organizations gathered to exchange experiences, gain new knowledge, and strengthen their financial capacities. The Financial Management Training, part of the EP-EACH project supported by the Delegation of the European Union in Albania, was more than a technical session – it was a significant step toward empowering communities and amplifying their role in protecting the environment and biodiversity.

Over two days, participants engaged in open discussions, explored real cases from their organizations, and practiced innovative approaches to ensure transparency and sustainability. They developed skills in clear budgeting, strategic financial planning, internal controls, and audit preparation – all closely connected to the daily challenges of their work.

This training delivered more than technical expertise: it built confidence, encouraged collaboration, and reinforced the shared belief that CSOs are a vital force for change. The main achievement was a shift in perspective – financial management was seen not as a formal obligation, but as a strategic instrument to guarantee that environmental and climate initiatives have long-term and sustainable impact.
