The Financial Management Training in Kukës

🌱 On December 10–11, 2025, Kukës became a vibrant space of collaboration for civil society organizations that gathered to share experiences, learn, and strengthen their financial capacities. The Financial Management Training, part of the EP-EACH project supported by the Delegation of the European Union in Albania, was not just a technical activity, it was a step toward empowering communities and increasing their impact in protecting the environment and biodiversity.

Over two days, participants engaged in open discussions, worked on real cases from their own organizations, and practiced new approaches to ensure transparency and sustainability. They learned how to design clear budgets, plan finances strategically, implement internal controls, and prepare for audits, all directly connected to the daily realities of their work.

This training brought more than knowledge: it fostered confidence, cooperation, and a shared understanding that CSOs are a powerful force for changing behavior towards the environment. The key benefit was the ability to see financial management not as a bureaucratic obligation, but as a tool to ensure that their work for the environment and climate has a lasting and sustainable impact.
