Open lecture with MSc students in Risk Management

Within the framework of the 1FUTURE project, the Institute for Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA), in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, held an open lecture with MSc students in Risk Management on November 18, 2025. The lecture was held by INCA expert, Emirjeta Adhami, who through the presentation of concepts and information on risk analysis and adaptation measures to climate change.

The lecture was concretized with student work on worksheets for the economic evaluation of proposed adaptation measures to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change, exploration of the real costs of these measures, cost-benefit analysis in the long term at local levels, as well as the use of effective analysis methods to address the challenges in this direction.

This activity is part of the commitment to strengthen the capacities of the new generation of professionals for climate change risk management, adaptation to sustainable development under changing conditions, as well as to promote collaboration between scientific research, relevant expertise and communities.
