Sllova, Gateway to Sustainable Tourism – Training on Visitor Management and Eco-Tourism Activities

 

In the heart of the Korab-Koritnik Natural Park, the Sllova area is becoming a reference point for the protection of sustainable tourism. Within the framework of the project "Sustainable Grazing for the Conservation of Vital Past Ecosystems", on 22.09.2025 a professional training was organized to create local capacities in the management of visitors of the hours and activities of eco-tourism activities.

The participants engaged in a practical session on ways of orienting visitors, sensitive activities and promoting the cultural values of the area. The training aims to create a common model between the community and nature, where tourism is in harmony with the environment.

With this initiative, Slova not only strengthens its role as an ecological destination, but also as an example of sustainable management of natural resources.

The activity was carried out in collaboration with partner companies, emphasizing the importance of active community involvement in the protection and promotion of the park.
